Definition and terminology
Broadly, a chart form is a complete Liuren construction; a pattern names qualifying structures. Control and comparison methods select transmissions, while names such as Origin Leader or Reconsideration can describe resulting types. Catalogs differ. A sixty-four-item catalog is not automatically a one-to-one equivalent of the sixty-four Changes hexagrams.
Structure and rules
The familiar nine methods are control, comparison, harm crossing, remote control, Pleiades, separate responsibility, eight specialization, stationary repetition and reversal. Their use depends on control relations, candidate counts and exceptional structures. A single chart may carry both a selection-method label and additional pattern labels, so record algorithmic and interpretive categories separately.
Worked reading
Suppose a teaching set has exactly one upward-control lesson and no competing candidate. Under the control procedure, its upper sign becomes initial and the type is Reconsideration. Compare a single downward-control example for Origin Leader. The stipulated uniqueness matters. Pattern names do not establish a real document review or required project delay.
Context and limits
Pattern catalogs contain Changes analogies, political ethics and extraordinary narratives. Explain those links without treating analogy as direct historical derivation. Stationary and reversal terms also occur elsewhere but need Liuren-specific definitions. Preserve the complete chart, criteria and source instead of memorizing fortune names whose rhetoric does not establish statistical regularities.
